1. What are the advantages of 2D barcodes?
2D barcodes can store much more information, up to 7,000 digits or 4,000 characters of information. Most 2D barcodes can also be read by mobile devices and phones equipped with basic cameras that scan both 2D and 1D barcodes.
2. How small can a 2D barcode be?
2D codes can be as small as 1/30th the size of a typical barcode containing the same data. As a result, 2D codes can be printed on electronics and other small parts where space is limited.
3.How many digits can barcode hold?
A UPC-A barcode contains 12 digits, along with a quiet (blank) zone on either side, and start, middle, and stop symbols. The middle symbol separates the left side and the right side, which are coded differently.
